Samsung to launch refurbished Galaxy Note 7 on July 7

Samsung announces to reveal the new smartphone so called refurbished version of Galaxy Note 7 with the cheaper price in its hometown.
The firm added that latest smartphone was made up of used parts of Galaxy Note 7 handsets that were recalled when some of the devices caught fire due to battery fault.
Samsung has stock of Galaxy Note 7 handsets as 2.5 million sets were recalled and the handset will go on sale in its hometown i.e. South Korea on 7th July with a safer, smaller battery.

Smaller battery with lower capacity:

  • The firm added that the new smartphone doesn’t contain the previous exploded battery as they design the safer and smaller battery for the handset and have lower capacity than the Galaxy Note 7.
  • The firm confirmed the addition of latest battery with 3200 mAh that have passed the strict safety tests where the original Galaxy Note 7 used 3500 mAh battery.

A Smaller price tag for a refurbished set:

  • The firm announces to release the sale with the cheaper price as they cut 30 percent amount from the original price of Note 7’s at around 700,000 Korean.
    The world’s biggest smartphone maker was forced to cut the sale of Galaxy Note 7 in October just after two months of its launch and nearly $5 billion was the lost for the firm but they had recovered the loss with the successful launch of Galaxy S8.
    Environmentalist pressurizes the firm:
  • The environmental campaign pressurizes the Samsung electronics to reuse the components of Galaxy Note 7 and made the smartphone as discarding the smartphone could harmful for the environment.
  • Samsung added that that latest launch of Galaxy Note is the environment-friendly project that minimized the wastage of sources.
    The recall of millions of handset was bad for the reputation of the firm but earn the positive reviews after and strong order with the launch of Galaxy S8.
